Foods That Help Prevent Cancer

Omega 3 Could Inhibit Cancer

Bitter Melon Prevents Breast Cancer

Ratna Ray, director of the study, explains that he was surprised that bitter melon extract, she prepares herself fried strips inhibited the growth of breast cancer cells. “To our knowledge, this is the first report describing the effect of bitter melon extract on cancer cells. Our results were encouraging. We have shown that bitter melon extract induces cell death of breast cancer and decreases growth and expansion. ”

Liver Cancer

Liver cancer is a disease in which cells of the body become abnormal, grow out of control and form a tumor. This type of disease is called primary liver cancer, also known as hepatocellular carcinoma or malignant hepatoma.

Among the risk factors we can highlight a possible relationship with the viruses that cause the types of hepatitis B and C, people who have cirrhosis have more chances of developing the disease, alcohol abuse and malnutrition cause such as cancer, liver cirrhosis; the aflatoxin (a group of chemical compounds produced by a fungus that can contaminate certain foods – like corn and seeds – are carcinogenic, or cause cancer.

The primary liver cancer is difficult to detect at an early stage because their symptoms are less pronounced. But, like other cancers, this disease can cause a feeling of poor health, loss of weight and appetite (more…)

Prostate Cancer: Green tea slows the development

no recent study has found that green tea there is a chemical substance, the polyphenon and, can slow the progression of prostate cancer.

The research, published in the journal American Cancer Prevention Research, has discovered that, thanks to this drug, some bio markers, including prostate specific antigen, vascular endothelial growth factor, and hepatocyte growth factor, normally used to indicate the presence of prostate cancer, were stable or even declining.
